Information about professional experience and jobs

October 2012 – present day
As a Lecturer and, starting with October 2016, Professor at Transilvania University of Braşov, Faculty of Letters, Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, I teach specialized courses and seminars for the Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees: Contemporary Romanian (Syntax and Morphology), Language Theory and Practice, Initiation in Research, Interpersonal Communication Strategies, Romanian as a Foreign Language. As Director of Transilvania University Press, I coordinate the activity and works to be achieved by 5 employees of the support structure, throughout the working stages. I also achieve the management of current activities and I assign tasks and responsibilities to the Publishing House members, in line with their professional training, with a view to ensuring the quality of the activities and services.

February 2001 – September 2012
As a Tutor (2001), Assistant (2003) and Lecturer (2007) at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploieşti, Faculty of Letters, Philology Department, I taught specialized courses and seminars for the Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees: Contemporary Romanian (Semantics and Pragmatics), Project writing, Interpersonal Communication Strategies.

Between February 2010 – September 2011, in the project Strategies for professional communication in English (SCOPE), financed by S.C. Spoting S.A. Ploieşti, I was a Lecturer and offered training sessions for the teaching staff that were going to teach at master’s level in English.

Between June 2006 – December 2008, in the project Limbajul politic românesc actual [Present-day Romanian political language] (CNCSIS 1094), I coordinated the preliminary activities to set up the „Center for research in Humanities” at the Philology Department, Faculty of Letters, Petroleum-Gas University of Ploieşti.

Between October – December 2001, in the project A Collaborative Examination of the Language and Images of Advertising, in collaboration with Clemson University, South Carolina (U.S.A.), I coordinated the student team at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploieşti and analysed the language of advertising in mass-media, in two cultural areas – Romanian and American.
